there are things that piss me off...like, majorly.
like...this afternoon, when i went to the SIA training center to settle some of my stuff with them, i was treated the same way i was while still a crew. and people say men aren't bitchy. as i was "put in my place" and told to get into the queue, i exclaimed out loud how glad i was to have resigned.
look, i was only supposed to be there for 5 minutes, and the guy makes me wait for 15 minutes. and when i finally get to ask my question, he answers it in 30 seconds. bloody hell!
i walked out of the place, my mom picks me up, and i start griping to her...the way i used to when i got off each flight.
I AM SO GLAD TO BE OUTTA THERE!
and moving along...
why the hell do people keep rejecting a golden-egg-laying goose on a silver platter that's right in front of them? they want it modified. you modify it exactly the way they tell you to. they then reject it again, saying that they didn't want it anyways.
puneta. dumbkopf.
then there're things that make me smile.
like...watching "adoptions" on the hallmark channel.
and my mom bursting into my room with a pack of chocolate-coated potato chips...which tastes really wierd because of the contrast between salt and sugar. that wasn't the smile-inducing part. the thing that actually got me smiling was her saying that my cousin's fiancee gave her that packet of expensive potato chips, telling her that she got it for my brother and me...stephaine is so schweet!
i'm supposed to be off today, but it sure didn't seem like i had a break...sigh.
i've got so much to do tomorrow...and i've yet to get through "kitchen confidential".
i look at the scars on my hands...and shudder at the memory of the countless number of times i've had plugs set on me.
it was painful. but i'm glad that period is over. so over.
