i'm glad to have made someone smile today.

it's such things i live for these days...

i stank after the campfire from hugging the little ones who wanted to go home to mommy. they were all sweaty and stinky, but it felt good...giving them a goodnight hug.

i felt a surge of pride seeing my boys do so well at the campfire. they're all coolness! i remembered doing the "friendship dance" with them in school, and they were all shy as hell...cuz they didn't wanna hold my hands. at the campfire, we all did it so natural...like...clockwork. the other boys from other schools were all freaked that we joined in (the outsiders we were)...but people like tai chong and lin sheng said "hi serene!", took my hand, and we danced.

that was the best i've felt in days. i've achieved something. we've succeeded somewhat.

i'm so glad to be a scout leader. i've been given a whole lotta grief, but it sure is gratifying...for most parts.

i've got a meeting with tom tomorrow, then dinner with the whole team...the whole male-team...haha.

happy birthday jiahao. hope you had a good one, and that the gift and "surprise" weren't too shabby.

i'm sorry...i just couldn't hug you tonight.
