here i am
this is me
there's no where in this place
i'd rather be.

i choose to live it out.

the pain, the resistance, the jibes.

i will not look for a distraction.

i choose to stand alone.

right here.

right now.

i can do this, mom.

Err... you might choose to stand alone, but I think you won't get to be alone much =P (for both good and bad reasons, hehehehe, sorry if I've deliberately distorted the meaning of your post =)

my parents' home has been the comfort zone for most of my young life, and it took a lot (albeit the circumstances) for me to step out.

it's so tempting to run back home, cry and spill to mother.

so by choosing not to, i'm handling this alone.

it's just like moving out and not bringing your laundry back home to do...do what you moved out to do.

live "alone".
